 The Best Endings Competition
Competition Rules are simple –
- Competition is open to active subscribers only.
- Entries must be received at submitstories@cox.net before midnight, Date TBA. Entries received after midnight, Date TBA, will not be considered.
- Entries must include young author’s name and the e-mail address used with original subscription. Only one entry per e-mail address is permitted. More than one entry from any e-mail address will void all entries from that address.
- Complete the story “Story TBA” and submit your entry to submitstories@cox.net.
- Judges’ decision is final.
Story endings will be judged by a team of professional educators and will be evaluated based on creativity only.
The winning entry will be professionally illustrated, printed, and bound, and the young author’s name will appear on the cover as “Author”. The winner will receive a one hundred dollar U.S. Savings Bond and five copies of his/her completed book.
Winning entry will be notified via e-mail at the e-mail address used with the original subscription.
(Due to issues of the privacy of minors, confidentially is assumed. Unless Sponsor receives written request, the winning young author’s name or picture WILL NOT be posted to the web site).
Should Sponsor receive requests for winner information only first name and city/state information will be released.

BY ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, THE WINNER AND/OR WINNER’S PARENT(S)/GUARDIAN(S) AGREE:
- THAT THE SPONSOR(s), [ITS/THEIR] SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND ALL OF THE SPONSOR'S OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS BY WINNER AND/OR WINNER’S PARENT(S)/GUARDIAN(S) FOR ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, AND PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS COMPETITION.

All entries become the sole property of Sponsor(s) and none will be returned. Subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited.
